There’s a saying that if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life. After founding Modern Touch Media, I am one of the proud few who are able to say this. My name is Kyle Martin, AKA Kyle Martin Films, and I am the owner of Modern Touch Media.

My story starts way back in 2008 at the ripe age of 13-years old. I knew from a very young age that I wanted to make movies. There was always something special about bringing an idea in my mind to life that absolutely fascinated me.

Through my entrepreneurial drive and relentless being, what started as a small YouTube channel quickly transformed into a small-scale production company where people started paying me to film their weddings and small business videos. After high school, I had to decide whether or not to attended film school, or business school. After much thought and consideration, I decided that business school was right for me, and continued my education at Northwood University where I graduated with my BBA in Entrepreneurship and Business Management in May of 2017. 

I’m a firm believer that filmmaking is an art form, and that art cannot be taught. I knew from a very young age that I had an eye for the shot, and knew that if anything, film school would only make me play by the rules more than anything else, which I’m not very fond of. Filmmaking to me is a creative outlet, where I’m contently honing in on my skills and testing my creative abilities. I knew that If I wanted to grow Modern Touch Media, I’d have to learn the business of filmmaking, and that’s exactly what I did. 

Today, I’ve solely grown Modern Touch Media from a small-scale production company into a full-scale creative film agency. I’ve had the privilege of traveling around the world to work with various clients and brands, filming in some of the most beautiful locations on Earth. What started off as merely an idea has turned into something I thought I would only dream of. Through my unique approach on storytelling and distinct filmmaking style, I have won numerous awards for my work and have been recognized by filmmakers worldwide. I am willing to do whatever it takes to capture the perfect shot and produce world-class videos for my clients.
